Private School Choice

Wisconsin has five private school choice programs, four school vouchers and an individual tax deduction. These programs help families send their children to participating private schools.

Public School Choice

Wisconsin allows parents to transfer to traditional public schools outside and within their district via two open enrollment policies. Wisconsin also has magnet schools.

Charter Schools

Wisconsin has many charter schools. Charter schools are publicly funded schools that are free of many of the regulations that restrict traditional public schools.
