Private School Choice
Florida has four private school choice programs, an education savings account (ESA), one voucher and two tax-credit scholarships. These programs help families send their children to participating private schools.

Public School Choice
Florida allows parents to transfer to traditional public schools outside and within their district via two open enrollment policies. Florida also allows magnet schools.
Charter Schools
Florida has a robust charter school community. Charter schools are publicly funded schools that are free of many of the regulations that restrict traditional public schools.
Homeschool
Parents have to follow certain laws in Florida when homeschooling their children.
