Carey serves as EdChoice’s vice president of operations.
Carey joined the Friedman Foundation—now EdChoice—in May 2003, serving in development before moving to her current position in 2005. Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked in the Washington, D.C., area in membership development and fundraising. Active in politics, Carey has volunteered on several political campaigns and served on the staff of a 2002 US Congressional campaign after returning to Indiana.
Carey is a 1993 graduate of Liberty University. She currently resides with her husband and two children in Greenwood, Indiana.
