Private School Choice
Arizona has five private school choice programs: one education savings account (ESA) program and four tax-credit scholarship programs. The ESA program allows parents to customize their child’s education, which can include private school tuition as well as tutoring, online learning, educational therapy and more. Tax-credit scholarships help families afford to send their children to participating private schools.

Public School Choice
Arizona has inter-district and intra-district open enrollment policies, which allow students to attend traditional public schools outside their zoned school. Arizona also allows magnet schools.
Charter Schools
Arizona has a robust charter school community. Charter schools are publicly funded schools that are free from many of the regulations that restrict traditional public schools.
Homeschool
Parents have to meet certain laws in Arizona when homeschooling their children.
