Oindrila Mukerjee at Grand Valley State University. She was my writing professor for many of my classes and her encouragement and constructive criticism made me a better writer and student than I ever thought possible.
I was homeschooled, so sadly, no mascot.
Reading, watching movies, running, going to festivals and events with his wife and young daughter, concerts, and traveling.
I was homeschooled, so I got to experience firsthand my parents being able to choose what was best for each of their children. Two of my siblings ended up going to a private school, while my sister and I stayed homeschooled for our entire K-12 education. It was what I needed, and I know without a doubt I would have been a totally different person had I not been homeschooled and instead attended a public school. Now, having a daughter of my own has intensified my passion that each family should be able to choose what is best for their child.
