Mr. O’Connor (Mr. O-C) - US History, AP Econ, Freshman Basketball. Mr. O-C was a remarkable teacher and coach. He somehow engaged large classrooms of wildly different students in subject matters they weren’t necessarily interested in. Mr. O-C taught me the inside-out fake crossover, how to find profit on a graph, and how to treat people with kindness. He sparked my interest in Economics, which eventually led me to Milton Friedman and a career in public policy.
